The new mascara from Covergirl was not only featured in the July issue of Shape magazine but it was also one of Oprah’s top picks for Summer.  Which of course meant that I had to run out and get it.  I debuted the mascara last night since I had a wedding to go to and was running out of mascara anyway.  After buying lashblast, I don’t think I’ll be trying any others for a while.  I absolutely love it!  It’s so easy to apply and it fans across your lashes making them look amazing.  Even at the end of the night, my mascara looked as if it had just been applied. This was definitely a good buy.

At the recommendation of a makeup junkie co-worker, I ran over to Sephora today and bought the new lipgloss from Smashbox, O-Gloss Intuitive Lip Gloss.  What made me even more curious once I read the ingredients was the avocado oils and pomegranate seed.  It has a smooth consistency that glides onto your lips without making them feel sticky.  It’s tasteless (a positive for me) and “intuitive, ” meaning that it changes to a different pink color according to your skin’s chemistry.  The best thing about this lipgloss is having my boyfriend tell me how soft my lips feel when he kisses me… without him even knowing that I have a new gloss!
